China’s Recycling Value of Power Battery Scrap Is Expected to Reach 26 Billion yuan by 2025

According to TrendForce's research, with the rapid development of China's new energy automobile industry, the volume of retired power battery is increasing year by year.

SHANGHAI, Dec 9 (SMM) – According to TrendForce's research, with the rapid development of China's new energy automobile industry, the volume of retired power battery is increasing year by year. China's scrapped power battery volume is expected to exceed 18GWh in 2021 and reach 91GWh by 2025.

At present, the power battery scrap is mainly used for repurposing and recycling. The recycling value of battery scrap has reached 2.4 billion yuan in 2020, and the recycling valune of power battery scrap is expected to reach 26 billion yuan by 2025.
