SHANGHAI, Dec 6 (SMM) - Total zinc inventory across seven Chinese markets stood at 131,600 mt as of December 6, up 1,500 mt from Friday December 3, but down 1,700 mt from Monday November 29.
The inventories added over the weekend. The inventory in Shanghai dropped slightly as market purchases picked up, after the released national reserves have been digested. In Guangdong, the arrivals during the weekend increased significantly, reversing the previous downward trend. Tianjin saw rising inventory amid stable arrivals and sluggish downstream demand.
The combined inventories in Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin added 2,200 mt over the weekend, and the total inventories across seven major markets in China rose 1,500 mt.
