In response to a question on the investor interactive platform, Yunnan Aluminum Co., Ltd. said that at present, two subordinate enterprises of Yunnan Aluminum have signed cooperation and development agreements on green power new energy projects with relevant power companies. the other party will invest in the construction of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects in the sites of the company's subordinate enterprises.
The photovoltaic power generation project jointly built this time has a total installed capacity of about 67000 kilowatts and can provide green clean power of about 80 million kilowatt hours per year. Yunaluminum said that all the green clean power provided by the project is consumed on the spot. In the next step, the plan will make full use of the industrial plant roofs, slopes and idle spaces of subordinate enterprises to implement distributed photovoltaic and distributed wind power projects, and vigorously improve the utilization level of renewable energy such as wind power and photovoltaic power generation. at the same time, Yunnan Aluminum expects that the total installed capacity of the cooperation project between the company and its subordinate enterprises and power enterprises will exceed 200000 kilowatts, providing green and clean electricity of about 240 million kilowatt hours per year.
Previously, due to the advance of the dry season in Yunnan, since September this year, the relevant departments of Yunnan Province have issued a notice on resolutely doing a good job in double control of energy consumption, which is affected by the policy of "double control of energy consumption" in Yunnan Province. the capacity of electrolytic aluminum of Yunnan Aluminum is limited to a certain extent. This also prompted Yunnan Aluminum Industry to seek more new ways of power supply from new energy sources.
With the implementation of the dual-carbon policy, the goal of "dual-carbon" has put forward higher requirements for China's energy transformation. Renewable energy power generation has become an important part, optimizing the energy structure and promoting power transformation and upgrading has become an important direction in the future. On November 26, the General Department of the National Energy Administration issued the measures for the Management of Photovoltaic Development and Construction (draft for soliciting opinions) and openly solicited opinions to further optimize the management of the development and construction of photovoltaic power stations and promote the sustained and high-quality development of the photovoltaic industry. The draft proposes that the annual development and construction plan of photovoltaic power station should be reasonably determined according to the provincial (autonomous regional and municipal) renewable energy planning, the weight of responsibility for power consumption of non-hydropower renewable energy, and the conditions for the consumption and access of Electroweb in the region. in principle, it will be announced to the public before the end of June every year.
It is worth noting that according to data recently released by the National Energy Administration, by the end of October this year, China's cumulative installed capacity of renewable energy power generation exceeded 1 billion kilowatts, reaching 1.002 billion kilowatts, accounting for 43.5 percent of the country's total installed power generation capacity, an increase of 10.2 percent over the end of 2015. Among them, the installed capacity of hydropower, wind power, solar power and biomass power generation reached 385 million kilowatts, 299 million kilowatts, 282 million kilowatts and 35.34 million kilowatts respectively, ranking first in the world.
The biggest advantage of renewable energy power generation lies in green and low carbon, which is particularly important in the current context of "double carbon". As an electrolytic aluminum industry with high energy consumption, because the limitation of high carbon emissions in energy structure on production capacity has been a "hard wound" for a long time, actively seeking new development ideas has become a new choice for all major aluminum enterprises. Prior to this, Chinalco has said that it will actively look for new ideas with wind power and photovoltaic as the main energy structure. We have reason to believe that renewable energy generation with hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic as the main energy structure may become the "hope" of the electrolytic aluminum industry.
