The hot rolling plant of Guangxi Iron and Steel successfully produced 0.85mm×1280mm steel strip, breaking the world record for the thinnest hot strip rolled conventional wide-band steel products in the industry.

SHANGHAI, Nov 25 (SMM ) – The hot rolling plant of Guangxi Iron and Steel successfully produced 0.85mm×1280mm steel strip, breaking the world record for the thinnest hot strip rolled conventional wide-band steel products in the industry.

The birth of 0.85mm ultra-thin steel coils indicates that the 1780mm hot rolling production line of Guangxi Iron and Steel has the industry leading technologies of equipment control and process operations, and it is also another breakthrough of the company.
