Mingtai Aluminum said on the investor interactive platform on November 22 that the company has now produced electrode foil blanks, which have been certified by some enterprises, and will gradually increase capacity in the future, but at present, the electrode foil blanks produced by the company are mainly used for medium and low voltage.

Electrode foil is the core raw material of aluminum electrolytic capacitor, so the market demand of aluminum electrolytic capacitor directly determines the market demand of electrode foil. With the introduction and implementation of national strategies such as "14th five-year Plan" and "New Infrastructure", intelligent high-end manufacturing, new energy vehicles and other industries are developing rapidly, new technologies and new products are constantly emerging, and the demand for all kinds of aluminum electrolytic capacitors is also increasing.

According to the relevant data of the future think tank, the overall technology of China's electrode foil industry is still low, and the number of enterprises that master the core corrosion technology is very small. In the process of making electrode foil, corrosion technology is the core technology, and this technology is usually kept secret abroad, so the technical level of domestic electrode foil enterprises is generally low. there are a large number of enterprises that purchase corroded foil from Japan and South Korea and then sell them overseas after they buy corroded foil from Japan and South Korea (low technical content, but high power consumption). At present, the domestic enterprises that can master corrosion technology and produce high-end foils are only a few head enterprises, such as East Sunshine, Xinjiang Zhonghe, starfish shares and so on.
