From 0 to 24:00 on November 16, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 31 new confirmed cases, according to the official website of the National Health Commission. There were 23 imported cases (14 in Jiangsu, 4 in Yunnan, 1 in Beijing, 1 in Tianjin, 1 in Shanghai, 1 in Guangdong and 1 in Shaanxi), and 8 local cases (all in Dalian, Liaoning). Including 2 cases from asymptomatic infection to confirmed cases (all in Liaoning). There were no new deaths. There were 2 new suspected cases, all of which were imported from abroad (all in Shanghai).

On the same day, 69 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 2613 close contacts were relieved from medical observation, and 2 severe cases were reduced compared with the previous day.

There are 378 confirmed cases (including 3 severe cases) and 4 suspected cases imported from abroad. A total of 9919 cases were confirmed, 9541 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on November 16, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 1257 confirmed cases (including 18 severe cases), a total of 92475 cured and discharged cases, and a cumulative death of 4636 cases. a total of 98368 confirmed cases and 4 suspected cases have been reported. A total of 1299515 close contacts were tracked and 42581 were still under medical observation.

15 new cases of asymptomatic infection were reported in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, including 14 imported cases and 1 local case (in Zhengzhou, Henan Province). On the same day, 23 cases were relieved of medical observation (21 cases imported from abroad), and 500 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (352 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 28963 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 12388 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (12099 cases were discharged and 213 died), 77 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (76 cases were discharged) and 16498 cases were discharged from Taiwan (13742 cases were discharged and 848 cases died).
