In order to further implement the innovation-driven development strategy and increase the supply of high-quality science and technology, recently, Yang Song, Deputy Director of Guizhou Science and Technology Department, led a team to investigate the current situation and technical demand for comprehensive utilization of lithium associated with bauxite in Guizhou Province, rare earth associated with phosphate rock in Zhijin area, rare earth ore and fluorite (lithium) resources in Weining area of northwest Guizhou. The high and new technology department and major special office of Guizhou Science and Technology Department, and relevant experts from Guizhou University participated in the research.
The research team went to Guizhou Geology and Mineral Resources Bureau to have an exchange and discussion with the expert team to understand the related scientific and technological innovation work, such as the comprehensive study of lithium geochemistry in Guizhou Province, the processing and smelting of fluorite-lithium resources in Liuzhipingqiao, the associated lithium resources of bauxite in Wuzhengdao area, the processing and smelting of phosphate rock associated with rare earths in Zhijin Xinhua area, and the mineral processing research of rare earth resources in Weining area. The research team went to Guizhou Geological Science and Technology Park to hear the report on the comprehensive utilization of Liuzhipingqiao Lithium (Fluorite) Mine by Guizhou Lithium Power New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and went to Liuzhipingqiao Fluorite (Lithium) Mine to investigate the overall occurrence and exploration progress of Pingqiao fluorite and associated lithium resources in the mining area.
