NDRC: Continue to Increase Support for Domestic Iron Ore Development

SHANGHAI, Nov 4 (SMM) - Recently, a team with the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) went to Baosteel Resources Co., Ltd. for investigation.

Xia Nong, the first-level inspector of the Industry Department of the NDRC, who headed the team, pointed out that it is necessary to continue to increase support for domestic iron ore development, study the establishment of a departmental coordination mechanism, open up policy blockages in domestic iron ore development, continuously improve China's independent iron ore guarantee capacity, and ensure the safety of China’s steel industry chain and supply chain.
