According to Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, in order to further prevent the pollution, Shanxi Province will require the key industries to conduct staggered production from November 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

SHANGHAI, Oct 25 (SMM) – According to Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, in order to further prevent the pollution, Shanxi Province will require the key industries to conduct staggered production from November 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

The affected industries include steel, coking, non-ferrous metals (aluminium and alumina), casting, chemical industry (coal-to-nitrogen fertiliser, carbon black), building materials ( bricks and tiles, fire resistance, ceramics, lime, cement clinker and grinding stations) and other key gas-related industries.
