[Xinjiang solicits opinions on improving the time-sharing electricity price mechanism: peak hours rise by 20% on the basis of peak electricity prices] on October 15, the Development and Reform Commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region issued a public announcement on soliciting opinions on matters related to improving our time-of-use electricity price mechanism. 21:00-2300 in July in summer and 19:00-21:00 in January, November and December in winter are adjusted from peak period to peak period, and peak electricity price is implemented. The price of electricity during peak hours rises by 20% per kilowatt-hour based on the peak price. The peak-valley electricity price standard shall be implemented in accordance with the current regulations for the time being.

On October 15, the Development and Reform Commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region issued a public announcement on soliciting opinions on matters related to improving the electricity price mechanism of our distinction. The opinion divides daily power consumption into peak, flat and trough periods, specifically: 8 hours during the peak period (8:00-11 / 11), 8 hours during the normal period (11:00-1400), 8 hours during the flat period (11:00-1400), and 8 hours during the trough period (2:00-16:00). 21:00-2300 in July in summer and 19:00-21:00 in January, November and December in winter are adjusted from peak period to peak period, and peak electricity price is implemented.

In order to implement the spirit of the Circular of the National Development and Reform Commission on further improving the time-sharing electricity price mechanism (Development and Reform Price (2021) No. 1093), to adapt to the new situation and new requirements of the changes in the peak and valley characteristics of the power system in the autonomous region, the accelerated construction of the power market and the rapid development of new energy, and combined with the reality of our region, our committee drafted the notice on matters related to the improvement of our time-of-use electricity pricing mechanism (draft for soliciting opinions). We now solicit opinions from the public, and welcome all sectors of the community to actively participate and actively put forward opinions and suggestions.

The time for public consultation and suggestions will be within 7 working days from now on. During this period, relevant units and people from all walks of life can feedback their opinions and suggestions to the Energy Price Department of our Commission by phone or email.
