Canada's primary aluminum production fell 4.7% in September compared with the same month last year.

Canada produced 244607 tonnes of primary aluminium in September, down 4.7 per cent from 256641 tonnes in September 2020, according to data released by the Alcan Association of Canada.

Primary aluminum production from January to September totaled 2384389 tons, up 3.3 per cent from 2308273 tons in the same period last year.
