Breakthrough in manufacturing technology of high performance low eddy current sintered NdFeB magnetic steel for high frequency rare earth permanent magnet motor

Recently, a breakthrough has been made in the manufacturing technology of high-performance low-eddy current sintered NdFeB magnet steel for high-frequency rare earth permanent magnet motors developed by Baotou Jinshan Magnetic Materials Co., Ltd.

The project adopts multi-alloy technology, and the composition, oxygen content and microstructure of different alloys are controlled respectively according to their characteristics, so that the magnet maintains low electrical conductivity, good neodymium-rich phase distribution and excellent microstructure; the post-processing of the magnet adopts specific unit division and combination, and the local use of high-temperature curing insulation adhesive treatment, so that the heat of the magnet under high-frequency working conditions is reduced. In the forming process, the one-time forming process of special-shaped products is adopted to reduce the feed ratio, reduce the post-processing procedures and personnel input, and reduce the production cost. The implementation of the project not only improves the problem of high eddy current heating of magnets in high frequency applications, but also the comprehensive magnetic properties of magnets are more than 74, which is also a breakthrough in the performance of double high magnets with high magnetic energy product and high coercivity.

At present, the project has been successfully industrialized, and the double high NdFeB products with high remanence and high coercivity are mainly used in the fields of new energy automobile motor, servo motor, traction motor and wind power generation. it has the excellent characteristics of high temperature, corrosion resistance and low weight loss under the premise of high frequency work.

It is understood that the project won the third prize for scientific and technological progress in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region and was recognized by the Productivity Promotion Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China as "good Technology in China".
