Development and Environment of New Energy vehicles
Xie Qiu first analyzed the development environment of the new energy industry: the current market development exceeded expectations. The penetration rate of new energy vehicles exceeded 10% from January to August, and even reached 17% in August, which is basically close to the national plan of 20% penetration in 2025. According to the current development trend, it is estimated that the sales of new energy vehicles may exceed 2.5 million in 2021, and 8 million vehicles are expected to be challenged in 2025, far exceeding the current national plan.
The rapid development of new energy industry has a great impact on the environment and resource load, which poses a great challenge to the power battery industry. General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the "double carbon" goal, not only out of consideration of the environment, but also from the economic level-carbon reduction means reducing the cost of the industrial chain. In order to achieve the carbon peak in 2030, we need to start to establish relevant data models and establish a scientific and quantitative management plan for the whole industry chain and life cycle in the manufacturing, transportation, use and recycling of power batteries. Life cycle green ecological technology
Xie Qiu expounds the life cycle green ecological technology from four aspects. First, high energy density: from the point of view of energy density, we can reduce resource consumption and emission reduction from three aspects. The most intuitive thing is to reduce the weight of the whole vehicle, reduce the energy consumption of the whole vehicle, and improve the efficiency of battery production. The company continues to make new breakthroughs in liquid battery technology, moving towards 350-400 Wh/kg energy density; combined with key technologies, the energy density of the next generation lithium-sulfur battery flexible package battery will reach 450 Whhand kg or even more than 500Wh/kg. The second is high-efficiency manufacturing technology: from the two aspects of material innovation and battery scale manufacturing, greatly improve manufacturing efficiency and effectively reduce energy consumption. The third is long-life technology: research and development of long-life graphite composite negative electrode technology to reduce consumption, while studying the negative electrode in-situ lithium supplement technology and optimizing electrolyte additives to achieve the best charging strategy in the whole life cycle. Fourth, low internal resistance technology: research and development of positive and negative electrode materials with high reaction kinetics, using high kinetic fast charging electrolyte and pore filling low retention liquid technology to achieve multi-form optimal combination charging strategy.
Technical Conception in the face of TWh era
Finally, Xie Qiu introduced the company's technical concept in the face of the TWh era. 2-3GWh per unit production line in the TWh era can no longer meet the needs of large-scale manufacturing, and a single production line should reach more than 10GWh. Facing the coming TWh era, starting from the bottom function of the product, starting from the basic technical principles, reconstructing the product design and the manufacturing process, we put forward the design concept of One-Stop. This concept is based on "highly integrated and extremely simplified" product design and manufacturing to achieve the requirements of "high specific energy, high safety, high reliability and low cost". Under the exploration and application of this concept, on the one hand, the new product design and manufacturing process breaks through the physical bottlenecks caused by many existing series processes and structures, and greatly improves the integration efficiency and manufacturing efficiency; at the same time, the structure of the product itself is simpler, the number of parts is more simplified, and the integration of manufacturing process is higher, so the reliability and manufacturing efficiency of products are further improved. This technical concept is applicable not only to electric core products, but also to PACK products. The cell using this technology is the fourth form of packaging after cylinder, soft package and square.
One-Stop has developed many original technologies, including ultra-thin shell wall, multi-dimensional shell forming, multi-function composite packaging, integrated bridge electrical connection, high shear external insulation, in-situ dust-free assembly integration, etc., resulting in a 40% reduction in structural weight, a 25% reduction in the number of parts, and a 100% increase in production efficiency.
The products using this technology, iron lithium support 700km service life, three yuan support 1000km service life, is expected to be on the market in June 2022.
