SHANGHAI, Sep 22 (SMM) - According to the data released by NBS, China's lead output stood at 594,000 mt in August, an increase of 1.7% year on year. The lead output totalled 4.71 million mt in January-August, an increase of 15.9% year on year.
The impact of power rationing in Yunnan, Henan, and Hunan continued in August, and major companies restricted production in rotation. Smelters gradually resumed normal production from power rationing in August while Yunnan Mengzi concluded maintenance. Hunan Yuteng and Anhui Tongguan resumed production in September from the end of maintenance in August. Xing’an Silver Lead in Inner Mongolia started routine maintenance in September.
