[1 billion! Beyond science and technology to invest in the construction of lithium battery recycling and other projects] on the evening of September 16, beyond science and technology issued an announcement, the company's board of directors examined and passed the "motion on investing in the construction of recycling projects for waste lithium batteries and electrode waste" and "the bill on investing in the construction of projects for recycling, disassembly and comprehensive utilization of scrapped vehicles". Anhui Dehui Green Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, invested and built two projects in Shahe Town Industrial Park, Nanqiao District, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, which are 60,000 tons / year scrapped lithium battery recycling project and scrapped vehicle recycling and disassembly and comprehensive utilization project respectively.

On the evening of September 16th, surpassing Technology (301049) issued an announcement, the company's board of directors examined and passed the "motion on investing in the construction of recycling projects for waste lithium batteries and electrode waste resources" and "the bill on investing in the construction of projects for recycling, disassembly and comprehensive utilization of scrapped vehicles". Anhui Dehui Green Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Anhui Dehui"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, invested and constructed two projects in Shahe Town Industrial Park, Nanfeng District, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. they are 60,000 tons / year scrapped lithium battery recycling project and scrapped vehicle recycling and disassembly and comprehensive utilization project.

Among them, the 60,000 tons / year scrapped lithium battery recycling project is expected to have a total investment of 400 million yuan, with a construction period of 36 months. The project is divided into two phases, which is scheduled to start in September 2021, the first phase is scheduled to be completed in July 2023, and the second phase is scheduled to be completed in August 2024. After the completion of the project, the annual operating income is expected to be about 1.087 billion yuan, with a net profit of 114 million yuan.

The total investment of the scrapped vehicle recovery, disassembly and comprehensive utilization project is expected to be 590 million yuan, and the construction period is three years. The project is divided into two phases, which is scheduled to start at the end of 2021, the first phase of which is scheduled to be completed in June 2023, and the construction of the second phase will be completed in 2024. After the completion of the project, 88000 scrapped motor vehicles, 12000 scrapped electric vehicles and 200000 scrapped motorcycles / electric bicycles will be disassembled and recycled, with an estimated annual operating income of about 751 million yuan and a net profit of 144 million yuan.

According to official data, Anhui Dehui, founded in July 2009, is a comprehensive environmental protection enterprise specializing in the disposal of industrial hazardous waste, medical waste, dismantling waste electrical and electronic products, comprehensive utilization of resources and research and development of energy-saving and environmental protection technologies. The company has more than 120 sets of treatment equipment and auxiliary equipment, which have the capacity to dispose of hazardous waste of 132270 tons / year, including industrial hazardous waste incineration of 62370 tons / year (including medical waste incineration of 3300 tons / year), physical and chemical treatment of 9900 tons / year, safe landfill of hazardous waste of 60000 tons / year, annual disposal of waste circuit boards and disassembly of 600000 sets of waste electrical appliances and electronics, annual resource utilization of 10000 tons / year, Mercury-containing fluorescent tubes are collected and stored for 10 tons per year, and waste lead-acid batteries are collected and stored for 500 tons per year.

In the feasibility study report of the construction of 60,000 tons / year scrapped lithium battery recycling project, beyond scientific and technological analysis, at present, China's new energy vehicle industry is booming, and the promotion and application work is promoted in an orderly manner. In the foreseeable future, the power battery will be decommissioned on a large scale and enter the recycling link, facing unprecedented opportunities.

According to the statistics of the "White Paper on the Development of China Lithium Ion Battery Recycling and disassembly and echelon Utilization Industry (2021)" jointly released by EVTank, Ivy Economic Research Institute and China Battery Industry Research Institute, the theoretical recovery of lithium-ion batteries in the Chinese market reached 478000 tons in 2020, of which the theoretical recovery of automotive (EV) lithium power batteries has exceeded that of small (Small) lithium-ion batteries, reaching 257000 tons. EVTank predicts that the theoretical recovery of lithium-ion batteries in China will reach 988000 tons by 2025, with a significantly faster growth rate.

Surpassing science and technology said, combined with the better industry background of China's waste lithium battery recycling industry, the increasing market demand for related products such as waste lithium battery and electrode waste recycling, and the company's multi-resource advantages, put forward the "waste lithium battery and electrode waste resources recycling project", which will extend the company's recycling economy field and expand the company's comprehensive utilization business sector. Improve the overall profitability of the company.

In addition, in a research activity on Aug. 26, the company said that in addition to fund-raising projects, the company is considering other projects around the direction of resource utilization, such as the car disassembly project.

Beyond science and technology, the project of recycling, disassembly and comprehensive utilization of scrapped vehicles has taken a substantial step forward.

Análise da produção de sulfeto de lítio grau bateria em agosto: haverá um aumento no quarto trimestre? [Análise SMM]
[SMM Analysis: August Battery-Grade Lithium Sulphide Production Analysis: Will Q4 See a Surge?]
