New Lithium Battery Project with Output Value at 6 Billion Yuan/Mt Launched in Sichuan

The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement for Shenzhen Yanyi’s lithium battery core materials project with output at 150,000 mt/year was held on September 12 at the Management Committee of Pengshan Economic Development Zone in Sichuan.

SHANGHAI, Sep 15 (SMM) – The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement for Shenzhen Yanyi’s lithium battery core materials project with output at 150,000 mt/year was held on September 12 at the Management Committee of Pengshan Economic Development Zone in Sichuan.

It is reported that this is Shenzhen Yanyi's second lithium battery industry project that is settled in Pengshan.

The investment in this project totalled about 2.5 billion yuan, and it covers an area of 66,667 square metre. It is planned to be officially put into operation in 2022, and the output value is expected to be about 6 billion yuan/year. It will have tax revenue about 500 million yuan per year and create job opportunities for about 100 people.

Shenzhen Yanyi is an innovation-driven technology company in the field of new energy and new materials. Its main business is based on the lithium battery functional materials and solid-state battery-related materials. It currently have five major business sectors: lithium battery binders, PI new materials, lithium supplement additives, lithium battery electrolyte and its additives, and solid-state batteries and its special special polymer special materials.
