Silicon Social Inventory Up 2,000 mt on Week

SHANGHAI, Aug 20 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port increased 2,000 mt from the previous week to 52,000 mt as of Friday September 10.

The inventory at Huangpu Port was flat on the week amid rapid inflow and outbound shipments. The shipment flow at Tianjin Port was slightly less active. The inventory in Kunming continued to increase in the wet season. Social inventories of silicon are expected to keep rising next week.
