Invest 2.3 billion! On the evening of September 1, Tianhua Chaojing announced that in order to continuously improve the company's capacity layout in the field of new energy lithium materials business and further expand battery-grade lithium hydroxide production capacity, Tianhua Chaojing and the people's Government of Jiang'an County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, intend to sign a project investment agreement, with a total investment of about 2.3 billion yuan.

SMM Sept. 2: on the evening of September 1st, Tianhua Chaojing announced that in order to continuously improve the company's capacity layout in the field of new energy lithium materials business and further expand battery-grade lithium hydroxide production capacity, Tianhua Chaojing and the people's Government of Jiang'an County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, intend to sign a project investment agreement, with a total investment of about 2.3 billion yuan.

It is reported that the project is an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of new energy lithium materials project, divided into two phases of construction, the project is expected to cover about 470 mu, of which the first phase of the project land is about 155 mu, the second phase of the project land is about 315 mu. It is worth mentioning that the first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022 and the second phase of the project is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2024.

Guangfa Securities commented earlier that the supply and demand of lithium hydroxide is tense and the price is expected to go upstream. And Tianhua ultra-clean with the acceleration of capacity expansion in the second half of the year, performance is expected to be further improved. At present, the company's first phase capacity of 20, 000 tons has reached the design scale, and the company will speed up the construction of the second phase of 25000 tons of battery-grade lithium hydroxide project, and strive to complete the project construction in the fourth quarter of 2021 to achieve stable mass production and output. superimposed lithium hydroxide price upward, the company's performance certainty will be further improved.

According to the spot quotation of SMM, as of September 1, the average price of domestic battery-grade lithium hydroxide was 122000 yuan / ton, up 73000 yuan / ton from the end of last year, or 149% this year.
