At 11:28 on August 24th, the first volume of the heat load test of Baowu Aluminium Air cushion Furnace Unit was successfully put off the line in accordance with the requirements of the futures contract, and the surface quality and performance of the products met the requirements. The commissioning of this unit is an important symbol for Baowu Aluminum Industry to open up the automobile aluminum sheet production process and lay a solid foundation for entering the domestic aluminum alloy sheet market in the future.
Air cushion furnace is the core unit for Baowu Aluminum Industry to produce high value-added products, and its equipment and technical level is an important symbol of whether it can produce qualified automobile aluminum sheet. The unit has the advantages of high degree of automation, simple process, short production cycle and low cost. It can produce aluminum alloy strip with thickness of 0.3mm to 4.5mm and width of 1000~2650mm. The process speed of the unit is between 4mm and 60m / min. According to the design capacity of 13.5t / h, the annual output is about 97000 tons. The main products are 2 series, 5 series and 6 series.
On December 20, 2020, the first phase of Baowu Aluminum Project was completed and put into production. The first phase of the project has a total investment of nearly 7 billion yuan and covers an area of 790mu, with an annual production line of 300000 tons of aluminum alloy, which mainly includes four main workshops and auxiliary facilities: melting and casting workshop, medium and heavy plate workshop, cold rolling workshop and finishing workshop. The design capacity is 80, 000 tons / year for aluminum alloy automobile plate, 50, 000 tons / year for aluminum alloy medium and thick plate, and 170000 tons / year for aluminum alloy plate and strip. The main products are located in the domestic key areas urgently needed high, fine, sharp aluminum strip products, widely used in automotive, aerospace, military, rail transit, packaging, architectural decoration strip and electronics and other fields.
