SMM: on August 24th, in order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the central leading comrades' instructions on the safety management of electrochemical energy storage power stations and strengthen the safety management of electrochemical energy storage power stations, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration organized and drafted the interim measures for Safety Management of Electrochemical Energy Storage Power stations (draft for soliciting opinions) to solicit opinions from the public.

It is reported that the interim measures for the Safety Management of Electrochemical Energy Storage Power stations (draft for soliciting opinions) prescribes the safety management of energy storage power stations for the first time, and formulates a series of new system designs according to the characteristics of energy storage. At the same time, considering that energy storage power stations are currently a rapidly developing emerging industry, some standards and norms have not yet been issued, so it is mentioned in the "interim measures" that the next step is to study the corresponding systems and norms. Refine the technical indicators and operation procedures to ensure the effective implementation of this law.

Moreover, it is also mentioned in the "interim measures" that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology should strengthen the production and manufacturing management of energy storage-related products and systems and raise the entry threshold for enterprises; market supervision and management departments should also strengthen the quality supervision and management of energy storage-related products and systems to ensure the quality of energy storage products and improve the safety requirements of energy storage products.

Lors du salon Intersolar South America au Brésil (25-27 août), une vingtaine d'entreprises chinoises de stockage d'énergie ont exposé. Chuneng New Energy a signé des accords avec quatre partenaires, dont des protocoles d'accord avec l'argentin Intermepro et les brésiliens ION Energy et JSN Energia, ainsi qu'un accord-cadre de 1,5 GWh de cellules avec Windey Energy pour fournir des cellules destinées à sa première usine de stockage à l'étranger à Bahia, au Brésil. Avec un réseau fragile, un taux d'écrêtement de 20,6 % et les deuxièmes prix de l'électricité résidentielle les plus élevés au monde, le Brésil lancera en décembre 2026 le plus grand appel d'offres national de stockage d'Amérique latine (environ 18 GW lors du premier tour), attirant CATL, Trina, Hithium, CLOU, Gotion et Great Power à se développer localement.

À 18h00 le 25 août, la tranche n°3 du projet de centrale thermique de 3×660 MW « remplacement des petites unités par de grandes » de SPIC Qinghai Provincial Investment a passé avec succès l'essai de fonctionnement à pleine charge de 168 heures, marquant l'exploitation à pleine capacité de la centrale thermique ultra-supercritique de 660 MW la plus haute du monde avec co-combustion à haute proportion de charbon à forte teneur en alcalins. Après la mise en service à pleine capacité du projet, sa capacité installée totale atteindra 1 980 MW, avec une production annuelle moyenne stable de plus de 8 milliards de kWh, couvrant entièrement la demande en électricité de toute la province du Qinghai.
