Antamina
As part of Peru's control of Covid-19 restrictions, April / May 2020 was affected by the suspension of operations. Other South American regions
Copper production was 116200 tonnes, unchanged from the first half of 2020, reflecting an increase in the throughput of Antapaccay, but the increase in copper production in this region was temporarily offset by a reduction in production due to the treatment of Lomas Bayas ore impurities.
Australian area
Self-owned copper production was 81700 tons, down 5400 tons from the first half of 2020, mainly reflecting the temporary reduction in grade caused by the ranking of Cobar mines.
