SHANGHAI, Aug 19 (SMM) - A small number of workers at the Alataw Pass land port in Xinjiang have been able to enter the yard for transhipment, and the transloaded vehicles are available to be dispatched, according to SMM. However, it is understood that only copper concentrate transhipment has been gradually restarted, while copper cathode and other business have not resumed. As an important port in northwest China, Alataw Pass is of great strategic importance and the overall recovery rate is fast. SMM will follow-up the recovery process.
