According to battery China, the first phase of Lanjun New Energy's AI smart power and energy storage battery plant in Fengxian District, Shanghai, was officially put into production in July this year.

According to the person in charge of Lanjun New Energy, the Shanghai Fengxian factory covers an area of 65000 square meters, covering the cell module test line, physical and chemical laboratory, abuse laboratory and 1GWh production line, with a total investment of 390 million yuan. "the factory is located in a high-standard, intelligent, zero-emission environment-friendly factory, using global advanced battery automation production equipment, with an automation rate of 95% and cleanliness of 100, 000. And the use of intelligent IoT distribution, traceability and analysis system to meet the balanced production of various types of products more safely and efficiently. "

It is worth mentioning that the lithium battery project of Lanjun New Energy in Jiashan base is also in steady progress.

In November 2020, Qingshan Industry and the people's Government of Jiashan County signed a contract for the Lanjun New Energy Lithium Battery Project, the main body of which is Shanghai Lanjun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Battery China has learned from Lanjun New Energy that the planned production capacity of Jiashan Power and Energy Storage Battery Base is 32GWH, with a plant area of 162000 square meters and a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan. at present, the plant is under intensive construction and is expected to be completed and put into production in the second half of 2022.

Lanjun New Energy revealed that in the only year since its establishment, the company has obtained orders from more than a dozen customers in the industry and has begun targeted production.
