According to the information released by the official WeChat of the Hefei Information Office, the total investment of the above project is 24.8 billion yuan and is located in Changfeng County, Hefei City.

Liu Jingyu, chairman of AVIC Lithium, announced in June that the company's planned capacity of 300 GWh, in 2025 was 50 per cent higher than its previous target. AVIC Lithium has achieved mass production of battery production bases in Luoyang, Henan, Changzhou, Jiangsu and Xiamen, Fujian, with a current capacity of about 16 GWh.

The Hefei plant is the fifth battery expansion project announced by AVIC Lithium this year, with a planned annual capacity of 175 GWh.

In January, the company announced investment plans for the fourth phase of the Changzhou project with a capacity of 25 GWh. In May, AVIC Lithium announced the news of the Xiamen Phase III production expansion project and the new production bases in Chengdu and Wuhan, with a total planned battery capacity of 100 GWh.

AVIC Lithium is currently the largest shareholder in Changzhou Jinsha Technology Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Changzhou Jinsha), with a shareholding ratio of about 21%. Changzhou Jinsha belongs to Changzhou Jintan government.

Chengfei Integration (002190.SZ) is the second-largest shareholder in AVIC Lithium, with a stake of about 12.6 per cent.

Last October, Chengfei announced that AVIC Lithium would increase its capital and shares through capital increases, strategic investors and employee equity incentives. The actual controller of Chengfei integration is China Aviation Industry Corporation.

Tianyan check APP shows that the capital increase and share increase has been completed in December last year. The registered capital of AVIC Lithium increased from 6.99 billion yuan to 12.76 billion yuan, and the number of shareholders increased from 6 to 35. The new shareholders include Hubei Xiaomi Yangtze River Industrial Fund Partnership invested by Xiaomi Science and Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Guangqi Ruidian Equity Investment Partnership invested by GAC GROUP (601238.SH).

According to Chengfei's integrated annual report, AVIC Lithium has a revenue of 2.67 billion yuan and a net profit of 130 million yuan in 2020. By the end of last year, the company had total assets of 18.7 billion yuan and net assets of 13.3 billion yuan.

Statistics released by South Korea's new energy analysis agency SNE recently showed that AVIC Lithium Power ranked seventh in the world in the first half of this year, with a scale of 3.2 GWh. Power battery specifically refers to the lithium battery which is used to provide power source for new energy vehicles.

At the top of the list is 300750.SZ, which installed 34.1 GWh in the first half of the year.

The Ningde era is filing a lawsuit against AVIC Lithium for patent infringement.

On July 21, Ningde Times announced that it had submitted an indictment against AVIC Lithium Electric Patent infringement case, which was accepted by the court. The company said the patents involved involved patents for inventions and utility models, and the batteries suspected of patent infringement had been carried on tens of thousands of vehicles.

AVIC Lithium also said in a statement on the same day that while carrying out a comprehensive layout of intellectual property rights, the products it provides to customers have undergone a comprehensive risk review by a professional intellectual property team to protect against infringing other people's intellectual property rights.

On August 2, AVIC Lithium Power spoke again and received two "civil complaints" from Ningde Times against the company. at the same time, the company also submitted the above two requests for invalidation of the patents involved in the lawsuit to the State intellectual property Office.
