China Automobile Sales Expected to Reach 30 Million by 2025

The Chinese automotive market will also see steady growth in production and sales, with sales expected to reach a record high of 30 million units by 2025.

SHANGHAI, Jul 28 (SMM) - China Automotive Technology Research Centre and Social Sciences Academic Press (China) jointly released the "New Energy Vehicles Blue Paper: China New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Report (2021)" along with other institutions. The Blue Paper pointed out that the 14th Five-Year Plan period will serve as a strategic opportunity for the auto industry, when the expansion of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in China will accelerate and intelligent technology is likely to reshape the entire auto industry chain, even the end services market. Thus, it shall lay a more solid foundation for China's auto industry in the next five years and even beyond to 2035. The Chinese automotive market will also see steady growth in production and sales, with sales expected to reach a record high of 30 million units by 2025.
