On the morning of July 25, Hefei Guoxuan Hi-Tech Power Energy Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guoxuan Hi-Tech, formally signed an investment agreement with the Management Committee of Hefei Lujiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone (referred to as Lujiang High-tech Zone). It is proposed to build an annual production base of 200000 tons of high-end cathode materials in Lujiang High-tech Zone, which means that Guoxuan High-tech has a further layout in the upstream industrial chain. Xu Huawei, secretary of the Lujiang County CPC Committee, Zhou Tianbin, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county magistrate, and Li Kui, secretary of the Guoxuan Hi-Tech Party Committee and chairman of the board of directors, attended and witnessed the signing of the contract.

According to the agreement, Guoxuan Hi-Tech will increase investment in the construction of a project with an annual output of 200000 tons of high-end cathode materials in Lujiang High-tech Zone. The project is located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Jintang Road and Hanqiao Road in Lujiang High-tech Zone. It covers an area of about 268mu and has a total construction area of about 120000 square meters. It is planned to start construction before the end of October 2021 and formally put into production in 2025. After completion, the annual output value is expected to reach 10 billion yuan.
