Tangshan to halt bulk material transportation during Jul 24-27 due to ozone pollution

From 0:00 on July 24 to 9:00 on July 27, the transportation will be prohibited for bulk materials including coal, coke, steel, ore, sand and gravel in Tangshan.

SHANGHAI, Jul 23 (SMM) - The ozone pollution is expected to reach the medium level in Tangshan from July 23 to 27.

During this period, local companies will further implement the measures required by the “Notice on Continued Implementation of Emergency Regional Joint Prevention and Control in Response to Ozone Pollution” issued on July 18 under the premise of safety production.

From 0:00 on July 24 to 9:00 on July 27, the transportation will be prohibited for bulk materials including coal, coke, steel, ore, sand and gravel. The transportation for people’s livelihood and new energy vehicle carriage will remain normal. Assembling and evacuating will be suspended at Jingtang Port and Caofeidian Port.
