China to release the second batch of copper, aluminium, and zinc reserves

A total of 30,000 mt of copper, 50,000 mt of zinc, and 90,000 mt of aluminium will be released in this batch.

SHANGHAI, Jul 21 (SMM) – China National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration will release the second batch of the national reserves of copper, zinc, and aluminium.

A total of 30,000 mt of copper, 50,000 mt of zinc, and 90,000 mt of aluminium will be released in this batch.

Companies can apply for the bidding during July 21-26, and the open bidding will be on July 29.

On July 21, the State Bureau of Grain and Material Reserves decided to start the bidding of the second batch of national reserves of zinc, putting 50,000 mt of zinc ingots for public tender, a significant increase compared to the first batch of 30,000 mt.
