China to release the second batch of copper, aluminium, and zinc reserves

A total of 30,000 mt of copper, 50,000 mt of zinc, and 90,000 mt of aluminium will be released in this batch.

SHANGHAI, Jul 21 (SMM) – China National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration will release the second batch of the national reserves of copper, zinc, and aluminium.

A total of 30,000 mt of copper, 50,000 mt of zinc, and 90,000 mt of aluminium will be released in this batch.

Companies can apply for the bidding during July 21-26, and the open bidding will be on July 29.

Recently, the 500 kV transmission and transformation project of Jiri (Kusha II) was officially approved by the Energy Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, marking a good start for the power grid construction of Ordos City in the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan. The project is located in the territory of Hangjin Banner, with a total investment of 1.52554 billion yuan. It is a key hub project to ensure the output and consumption of new energy power in the northwestern region of Hangjin Banner.
