






Beijing, July 19 (Xinhua) China's refined copper production rose 2.6 percent in June from a year earlier to 837000 tons, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
Data show that from January to June, China produced 5.154 million tons of refined copper, an increase of 12.2% over the same period last year.
China's lead production in June was 640000 tons, up 11.3% from a year earlier, according to the Bureau of Statistics. The cumulative output from January to June was 3.609 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 20.9%.
China's zinc production in June was 567000 tons, up 6.2 per cent from a year earlier. The cumulative output from January to June was 3.272 million tons, up 5.0 per cent from a year earlier.
China's alumina production in June was 6.804 million tons, up 6.7% from a year earlier, while cumulative output in the first six months was 39.281 million tons, up 11.0% from a year earlier.
