SHANGHAI, Jul 13 (SMM) — Li Kuiwen, Director of China’s Statistics and Analysis Department of the General Administration of Customs, said that China’s general trade import and export value amounted to 11.19 trillion yuan in H1 2021, an increase of 30.7%, accounting for 61.9% of the total foreign trade value.
At the same time, emerging trade formats such as cross-border e-commerce and market procurement trade have also shown a vigorous development momentum, and the structure of trade methods has been further optimised.
China’s export value of mechanical and electrical products increased 29.5% to 5.83 trillion yuan in the first half of the year.
