Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 18,000 mt from last Thursday to 858,000 mt as of July 8.

SHANGHAI, Jul 8 (SMM) – Primary aluminium ingot inventories in China fell this week, showed SMM data.

Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 18,000 mt from last Thursday to 858,000 mt as of July 8. Stocks in Wuxi continued to contribute to the decrease.

Social inventories of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin expanded 13,600 mt from last Friday July 23 to 172,600 mt as of July 30. This was up 6,500 mt from Monday July 26 and registered a new high since October 2014.
