According to the Indian media ET Telecom, Mike Chen, general manager of TCL India, said, "We announced an investment of 1.53 billion yuan (about US $219 million) in September 2019 for the manufacture of display modules in India. It is planned to launch the first phase of operation in the second quarter of 2020, but it has encountered difficulties such as a shortage of raw materials, workers and equipment. "
Mike Chen said that of TCL Huaxing's 11 production lines around the world, five will be used to produce TV panels and six will be used for mobile phone panels. At the same time, the company will produce 8 million 32-inch 75-inch TV panels and 30 million 3.5-inch 8-inch mobile phone panels a year.
