Operating rates of lead-acid battery plants rose to 69.2%

Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces increased 2.25 percentage points from June 18 to 69.2% as of Friday June 25.

SHANGHAI, Jun 25 (SMM) - Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces increased 2.25 percentage points from June 18 to 69.2% as of Friday June 25.

End consumption of lead-acid battery market stood flat. Operating rates rebounded this week amid more working days after the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. The energy storage battery companies maintained stable production amid relatively abundant orders, while the production at companies of electric bike batteries and car batteries remained low. Some car battery companies further reduced monthly production due to few orders.
