[breakthrough in Norway Tesla will open super charging network to other car factories] according to the latest foreign media reports, Tesla has confirmed to Norwegian officials that he plans to open the super charger network to other automakers by September 2022, which could change the development process of the electric vehicle industry. According to reports, Tesla has been in contact with the authorities in (Vestland) County, Westland, Norway, to obtain preferential incentives for the deployment of charging stations. According to reports, Tesla has been in contact with the authorities in (Vestland) County, Westland, Norway, to obtain preferential incentives for the deployment of charging stations. However, the local government only provides incentives for charging stations that are open to all carmakers.

Norwegian officials confirmed that Tesla planned to open up the supercharging network to other carmakers by September 2022, so the local government approved Tesla to receive incentives, according to conference records obtained by foreign media.

This is the first time Tesla has set a practical timetable for opening up the super charger network. Tesla has by far the most extensive fast charging network for electric vehicles in the world, so it is difficult to quantify what this means for the future of the auto industry.

Instead of relying on third-party charging networks like most other automakers, Tesla developed his own charging network from scratch. Specifically, Tesla currently has more than 25000 super charging piles in 27000 sites around the world. Unlike third-party charging networks such as Lonity, Electrify America, the Tesla super charger network is only open to Tesla cars.

Tesla has often said that it is willing to share the super charger network with other carmakers, but that will depend on whether a cost-sharing agreement is reached.

There were rumors that Tesla had negotiated such an agreement with other carmakers, but no actual results were reported. Last year, Tesla CEO Musk said that other carmakers are now using Tesla supercharging stations "quietly".

It is not clear whether this openness applies only to Norway or to Europe or the world, but Tesla has held similar talks with Germany.

For Tesla, it would be easier to open the charging network in Europe because the European supercharging network interface uses the CCS connector, which is the local standard. In North America, Tesla will have to provide adapters because its cars and charging stations use proprietary plugs.

In the domestic market, Tao Lin, vice president of Tesla China, also said that in the future, Tesla does not rule out the possibility of opening charging posts to other brands of electric vehicles, as long as these electric vehicles go through Tesla's technical verification to ensure safety and charging experience.

Tesla has more than a year to plan this move to increase the required production capacity. Obviously, this will become a new source of income for Tesla.
