China's refined copper imports fell 4.68% in May compared with the same period last year.

According to online inquiry data released by the General Administration of Customs, China imported 291378.19 tons of refined copper in May, down 4.68 per cent from a year earlier and 8.70 per cent from a month earlier. Among them, Chile is still the largest supplier of refined copper to China. China imported 50557.59 tons of refined copper from Chile in May, down 28.06% from the previous month and 38.13% from the same period last year.
