Huayou Cobalt Industry (603799.SH) issued a notice on investment in the construction of ternary precursors and ternary cathode materials, disclosing two construction projects.

(1) through the wholly-owned subsidiary Guangxi Bamo Science and Technology Co., Ltd., the company plans to invest in the construction of an integrated project with an annual output of 50, 000 tons of ternary cathode materials for high-nickel power batteries and 100000 tons of ternary precursor materials. According to the preliminary calculation, the total investment of the project is 6.30785 billion yuan, including 5.437 billion yuan in construction investment, 180.78 million yuan in interest during the construction period, and 690.08 million yuan in working capital.

(2) through the wholly-owned subsidiary Huayou New Energy Technology (Quzhou) Co., Ltd., the company plans to invest in the construction of a high-performance power battery ternary cathode material precursor project with an annual output of 50,000 tons. According to the preliminary calculation, the total investment of the project is 1.42771 billion yuan, including 1.22443 billion yuan in construction investment, 20.36 million yuan in interest during the construction period, and 182.92 million yuan in working capital.
