SHANGHAI, Jun 4 (SMM) — Operating rates across licensed smelters of secondary lead in Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou averaged 58.52% in the week ended June 4, down 1.88 percentage points from the previous week, showed an SMM survey.

The output of Jiangsu New Chunxing declined due to the unstable production amid technological transformation and weak consumption. Guangdong Xinyu cut down production in the high temperature, while Shandong Zhongqing increased production. The overall output declined. Jiangxi Xinya is expected to resume normal production next week, and the total output of secondary lead is likely to increase steadily.
