SHANGHAI, May 28 (SMM) — Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports decreased 78,500 wmt from May 21 to 5.69 million wmt as of May 28, showed SMM data.

In Ni content, the stocks stood at 44,500 mt.

SMM data also showed that nickel ore stocks across seven major Chinese ports decreased 4,000 wmt during the same period to 4.2 million wmt.

Some ports still had the problem of slow unloading and holding in port, and some ports concentrated on picking up goods, which lead to a slight decrease in stocks. It is the peak period of nickel ore export recently, and the port inventories will continue to pile up.
