According to SMM survey, TCs across domestic regions stabilised.

SHANGHAI, May 25 (SMM) – According to SMM survey, TCs across domestic regions stabilised. On the supply side, imported zinc concentrate orders at smelters declined from Q2 in Q3 as domestic plants were in seasonal recovery and smelters preferred to buy domestic zinc concentrate on stable TCs. But according to domestic zinc concentrate import data released in April, imports from Australia declined sharply on the month amid strong demand from producers in South Korea and Japan that actively restocked cargoes at highs. Imports remain as the market focus. Many smelters have reduced production amid power curtailment in Yunnan during the low-water period while some companies planned to raise TCs in June in the process of TCs negotiation.
