SHANGHAI, May 21 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port declined 3,000 mt from the previous week to 36,000 mt as of Friday May 21, SMM data showed. This was 25% lower than the same period last year. Stocks at Tianjin port and in Kunming continued to shrink this week, while those at Huangpu port rose slightly.
Inventories are likely to maintain the downward trend in the next two weeks.
