, REAL ALLOY has reportedly acquired R é slag Valorisation Aluminium (RVA), a French specialist in salt slag recycling, to further strengthen its existing aluminum slag processing plants in North America and Europe.

RVA is located in Les Islettes, 200km east of Paris. The company uses its technology to treat aluminum salt slag and recover minerals (aluminum, salt and alumina) from aluminum salt slag, thereby eliminating waste from aluminum recovery.

Terry Hogan, CEO and president of REAL ALLOY, says RVA's know-how is in line with REAL ALLOY's growing focus on sustainability.

This acquisition enhances the recycling capacity of aluminum slag and has the opportunity to further enhance the company's existing salt slag processing plants in North America and Europe, which will further reduce ecological pollution. The addition of RVA further supports REAL ALLOY's greener way to obtain the economic value of recycled aluminum.
