SHANGHAI, May 14 (SMM) – Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas decreased 600 mt from a week ago and stood at 8,700 mt as of May 14, showed SMM data.
The loss of import window narrowed this week, the premium prices of non-duty-free nickel briquettes and plating nickel plates in China was moderate, and hundreds of tonne of them were moved into China. It was reported that LME pure nickel arrived at port one after another recently, while all of them directly flowed into China after customs clearance. It is expected that Shanghai bonded refined nickel stocks will continue to decline.
