Recently, the two industry technical standards "photoelectric Emission Spectrometry for Analysis of Copper and Copper Alloys" (Standard No. YS/T 482-2005) and "methods for Analysis of Copper and Copper Alloys by X-ray fluorescence Spectrometry (wavelength dispersion)" (Standard No. YS/T 483-2005), led by Chinalco Luoyang Copper processing Co., Ltd., have been praised by the expert group of the National Nonferrous Metals Standards Technical Committee and considered that "the revision of the two standards." It further expands the number and scope of analytical elements, improves the applicability and guidance of the standard, and reaches the international advanced level.
The two industry technical standards drafted and revised were both issued and implemented by the first drafting unit of Luoyang Copper processing in 2005. In recent years, with the progress of science and technology, the development and production of new products and the rapid development of spectral instruments, the original standards can no longer meet the current product testing needs. In 2018, Luoyang Copper processing carefully analyzed the problems existing in the two original standards and methods, put forward feasible revision opinions and suggestions, and once again took the first standard revision unit and led 19 units to participate in the revision of the two industry standards.
The expert group believes that the two standards meet the requirements of modern testing technology and are of great significance in ensuring the accurate determination of copper and copper alloy analysis, improving product quality and promoting the development of high quality in the industry.
