South Korea continues to impose anti-dumping duty on pre-coated photosensitive panels made of Chinese aluminum

South Korea's Ministry of Planning and Finance issued notice No. 2021-99 on May 3, 2021, saying that in accordance with order No. 852 of the Ministry of Planning and Finance of the Republic of Korea, the anti-dumping duty on aluminum pre-coated photosensitive panel (Presensitized Aluminum Plate for offset Printing) originating in China was maintained in accordance with order No. 634 of September 7, 2017. the duty rate was adjusted to 8.78% and 10.32% (see table below), effective from May 3, 2021 and valid for 5 years. The Korean tax code of the product involved is 3701.30.9100.

On September 7, 2017, South Korea formally imposed a three-year anti-dumping duty on Chinese aluminum pre-coated photosensitive panels (see order No. 634 of the Korean Ministry of Planning and Finance), valid until September 6, 2020, with a duty rate of 5.86% and 10.21%. On May 4, 2020, the Korean Trade Commission launched a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on the Chinese aluminum pre-coated photosensitive board. On January 21, 2021, the Korean Trade Commission made the final judgment of the sunset review of the anti-dumping case.
