SHANGHAI, Apr 30 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port expanded 3,000 mt from the previous week to 50,000 mt as of Friday Apr 30, SMM data showed. Stocks increased at Tianjin port due to rising arrivals of silicon metal shipped from Xinjiang.
Silicon social inventories are likely to trend lower in the short term as fewer new capacities in south-west China are brought online.
