On April 26th, 12 μ m hot rolled 1100 double photovoltaic lithium battery foil resumed mass production in the foil mill of Guangxi Nannan Aluminum foil Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of South-South Aluminum Group (hereinafter referred to as "Aluminum foil Company"). It marks the ability of the foil mill to restore the continuous and stable production of domestic demanding lithium battery products. A few days ago, the aluminum foil company has achieved multi-batch supply of 12 μ m hot-rolled 1100 double photovoltaic battery foil to several domestic lithium battery manufacturing listed companies, with good feedback.

In battery foil, high elongation, high resistance and high surface lithium battery foil requires not only strict performance, but also high surface quality, size and cutting precision. Before the relocation, it is difficult to meet the market demand in controlling the quality of high-end battery foil, and there is still more room for improvement compared with the imported foil mill, although the aluminum foil company has used the domestic foil mill to trial-produce this product for many times, but it is difficult to achieve stable mass production.

After the relocation, the company seized the opportunity of transformation and upgrading and quickly set up a 1100 double-photovoltaic battery foil production process team to trial-produce the hot-rolled 1100 double-photovoltaic battery foil for the first time from February 24, 2021. After the team has refined the foil mill for many times and adjusted the oil products, continuously optimized the process and continuously improved, and finally achieved a successful trial production, after testing that all indicators are in line with the technical agreement signed with customers. In order to further verify the quality of the product, the aluminum foil company first supplied it to the listed lithium battery manufacturing company on March 5, 2021, achieving a successful one-time trial.

The successful mass production of 12 μ m double-light high-end battery foil shows that the foil mill has not only quickly returned to its pre-relocation state, but also has better equipment stability and accuracy than before relocation. It has greatly encouraged the confidence of all the staff of the aluminum foil company in the future quantity of high-end double photovoltaic foils in the foil mill.

At the same time, in order to further improve the lithium battery foil quality and terminal market share of the aluminum foil company, according to the group's plan, the aluminum foil company is currently building a class 100000 dust-free factory for battery foil production, upgrading striping equipment and increasing plasma equipment, which has made sufficient preparations for the quantity of lithium battery foil products in the second half of the year.
