The low-carbon work Promotion Committee of the Iron and Steel Industry was established, which is a phased and professional organization to promote low-carbon work in the iron and steel industry under the leadership of the Iron and Steel Association, as a non-permanent body of the Iron and Steel Association. The committee has a five-year session, and consists of three working groups: advisory committee, expert committee and low-carbon development research working group, low-carbon technology research working group and low-carbon standards research working group. At the same time, in order to put the research work into practice and give full play to the role of scientific research institutions as the source of research and development, there are three research bases that undertake specific work: low-carbon development research base, low-carbon technology research base and low-carbon standard research base.
