Social inventories of lead ingots shrank 7,900 mt on week

Social inventories of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin declined 7,900 mt from last Friday April 16 to 68,100 mt as of Apr 23. This was down 6,900 mt from Monday April 19.

SHANGHAI, Apr 23 (SMM)—Social inventories of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin declined 7,900 mt from last Friday April 16 to 68,100 mt as of Apr 23. This was down 6,900 mt from Monday April 19.

Production at secondary lead smelters in Anhui and Jiangxi was affected by environmental inspections, and some smelters were under maintenance, which tightened lead ingot supply.

Lead social inventories are expected to continue to fall next week amid stable supply and ongoing environmental inspections.

Zijin Mining 2025 Report: Zinc Output Down, Smelting Up, Bisha and Wulagen Mines Plan Increased Production

Zijin Mining released its 2025 annual report.
