Haili Marelli Global headquarters starts to operate Hai Li Power New Energy vehicles

On April 18, 2021, the global headquarters of Haili Marelli Holdings Co., Ltd. launched the operation and new energy vehicle thermal management system conference held in Pudong, Shanghai. On August 29, 2019, Haili signed a Memorandum of Cooperation intention with Marelli Group. Marelli is one of the leading global independent suppliers in the automotive industry, with about 60, 000 employees worldwide, 170 institutions and R & D centers in Asia, the Americas, Europe and Africa, with sales of 13.6 billion euros in 2019. On September 4, 2020, Haili formally signed an auto parts joint venture with Marelli, which includes Marelli's divestiture and restructuring of its assets and business of automotive air conditioning compressors and air conditioning systems (with a business scale of 91.7 billion yen in 2019). And set up Marelli Hong Kong as the main body of the integration of target assets and business, and Haili acquired a 60 per cent stake in Marelli Hong Kong. After the completion of the project, the joint venture company changed its name to Haili Marelli Holdings Co., Ltd. On January 28, 2021, Haili completed the delivery of the business with Marelli.

The Haili Marelli joint venture project is not the first cooperation between the two companies. In August 2019, Marelli also acquired a 25% stake in Shanghai Haili New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Haili. It has realized the cooperation between the two sides in the business of electric air conditioning compressors for new energy vehicles.
